System Integrator & Developer
My name is Steffen Barth – a system integrator with a solid foundation in network and systems technology and a long-standing passion for software development. What began as a hobby with my own servers and plugins is now my profession: understanding technical problems, building well-thought-out solutions, and running them reliably.
My Background
My path into IT led through retraining as a system integrator (SRH Heidelberg) – complemented by hands-on projects such as building and managing my own server and network infrastructure.
How I Work
I work in a structured, analytical way with high quality standards – from the first requirement to day-to-day operation. Clear documentation, comprehensible decisions, and open communication are a given for me. I approach every project independently and look beyond the obvious to improve quality and efficiency.
What I focus on
I'm at my best where development and operations meet: not just building software, but keeping it running reliably. This combination of development and system administration runs through all my projects – from Minecraft plugins with database and Discord integration to Linux servers with monitoring and backups.
